The semester is over. I am chilling out. Maybe too much even. Or maybe there’s no such thing as too much chilling out

2 1 0 paper proposals to finish - done!
1 paper to start and finish - I just simply hate it how much I postpone everything, always!
4 3 2 1 days till Saturday
2 bags to pack
3 methods books to bring
1 library fine to pay + a whole lot of books to return
3 whole weeks to relax
I can’t wait!

… is over. My skills as a TA were evaluated, while I waited outside the door. Kind of liberating, since I can’t do anything about them anyway, and they are out the way. Yes, when I get them back in February I will most likely need a bottle of something strong. But the semester was great, I loved the fact that I got to know these students so well and had the experiences that I did - good (mostly) and bad (sometimes).
For now, I need to wrap up my final papers and kiss my next-to-last semesters good bye before taking off to a real warm and sunny place on the 17th. Of course, I will need to start on the comps reading (coming up in exactly six short months), but it will be warm and nice and I will see my most favorite American eskimo dog in the whole world (don’t ask what a nordic dog is doing in a city with tropical climate ).

Now, I am a bad cook, but even I cannot come up with these culinary diet wonders. And this is my favorite. Enjoy!
P.S. On second thought, this is even better.
