Today I spend about 2 hours choosing my next dog. Mind you, I currently do not have the time, the place, and the money to afford a dog. And I should have been doing homework. However, Jiso started me on the whole “what-kind-of-dog-do-i-want” thing and then I could not stop until I found a breed to my content. The animal planet site helped a lot. I have always thought I want a Rottweiler, and I still might consider that. However, my current top dogs are the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, the Bernese Mountain Dog, and the Samoyed. Coincidentally, these dogs all seem to be related because they are all in the category of the so called “Working Dogs”. Great, at least someone at home will do work, since obviously that’s not the owner’s main quality. Tell me, what’s your favorite dog breed?
