A while back, Jenn gave me the letter C for this game below, so now I actually have a topic for today’s post. Ten things that start with C and what they mean to me. Let’s C (pun intended):
COMPREHENSIVE EXAMS: Three of them. Next week. The reason why I have been missing. Not fun.
CLASSES: Done with school classes as of last week, hopefully forever, after 19 years. But I was told it’s bad luck to say that it’s forever, so let’s say I am temporarily done with being a student
CLUB SODA: I love club soda. L-o-v-e.
CONNECTION: I think it might be because my family moved so much when I was little, but I like to stay connected to people and places even long after I leave them or they leave me. Not because of nostalgia necessarily, but just because of a very strong need to feel like I belong.
COLGATE UNIVERSITY: My alma mater. A great place. I have the fondest memories from there.
COFFEE: Black espresso, no sugar, no milk. Five hours to spare and a good friend. This is the perfect weekend in my dream world.
CATS: Nothing against them, but I am a dog person.
CALENDARS and CLOCKS: I like to have calendars and clocks around, to remind me of how fast time goes by. To help me plan and give me visualizations of days to look forward to. I never wear a watch, but I need to have a clock in every room.
CARIBBEAN: Salsa, rum, long nights. I need to get married and have my honeymoon there.
COCONUT: In all forms - candy, drinks, Thai food. Especially Thai food.
